Local journalist Karin Winegar and renowned photographer Judy Olausen will discuss their new book, Saved: Rescued Animals and the Lives They Transform,  on Tuesday, November 11  at 7:00 p.m.

Karin Winegar and Judy Olausen have created a beautifully illustrated tribute to rescued animals who have profoundly affected the people who saved them. Through their words and photography, judy olausenWinegar and Olausen capture the impact animals have on people’s lives, including the emotional and physical healing that often accompany these relationships. The heartfelt stories compiled in this book prove once and again that love rescues us all.

Eileen McCarthy of Midwest Avian Adoption and Rescue Services (MAARS) will bring a white cockatoo, Angel, and Don and Darlene Ahlstrom of L'amour et labri in Rochester, will bring Hope and Chance, the lovely three legged Great Pyrenees dogs
